Thorne Colliery 2 - 1 Dinnington Town.

A disappointing result on the travels yesterdy afternoon going down two goals to one in what appears to be the final game for a while again with the impnding lockdown.
Dinno came in to this one of the back of some good results and performances, today unfortunately wasn't one of them. Thorne were the hungrier side creating the better chances of the first half and picking up the second ball more often than not.  Josh Branch with an outstanding save to deny Thorne the lead midway through the half but the from the resulting corner, Thorne did take the lead. It wasn't really until late on in the half did Dinno really created anything of note. Lewis Twibell had a chance to square it up but prodded wide after a Foulds knock down and Foulds also saw a headed effort wide.

Half time.

Thorne 1 - 0 Dinno.
The 2nd half couldn't have started any worse for Dinno. A ball in to the box cleared away and Thorne countered, the initial shot saved but the follow up was put away to leave Dinno two down. There was nothing happening for Dinno, Thorne definitely looked like they wanted it more. Dinno were caught again but the effort was wide this time. Thorne had a player in the sin bin for ten minutes for dissent but Dinno couldn't capitalise on the advantage. Their was a glimmer of hope after Jamie Hopkins pulled one back for Dinno in the dying minutes but just couldn't find an equaliser. A fair result overall.

Full time.

Thorne 2 - 1 Dinno
